Tik Tok’s CEO Kevin Mayer has reportedly stepped down after recently being appointed the position. This resignation comes amid the backlash from the Trump Administration regarding Tik Tok being a national security threat due to it’s ties with China.

The short-video-sharing app has been forced to sell it’s US business with companies such as Microsoft (MSFT) and Oracle (ORCL) competing to acquire the business.
